ABOUT THE TUTOR

Our representative tutor is Tecy R. St. Louis, a Florida-certified professional educator of nine years who holds a degree in Education from Florida International University in Miami, Florida.

Tecy has had a variety of experiences in education and student learning. His teaching experience extends beyond the classroom to working as a Clinician, Mentor, and Consultant at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes (in Coral Gables, Key Biscayne, Weston, and Boca Raton, FL). He also has experience providing academic support to students in the Youth FORCE after-school program with the Memorial Healthcare System in Broward County. Moreover, Tecy has had had the opportunity to teach English for Students of Other Languages (ESOL) through VIPKid, an on-line teaching platform for students residing in China.

In addition to supporting students through his own private tutoring, Tecy also apportions his time working with homeschooling families through Motivating Minds, a learning center located in the Key Biscayne area, and also working as a tutor with the Miami-Dade Public Library System (MDPLS).

Aside from teaching and tutoring, there is nothing Tecy looks forward to more than spending time with his darling wife, Homene, and their two lovely children.
